This intensive five-day training program is specifically designed for MEAL Officers and professionals responsible for the systematic collection, management, and analysis of data within Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) systems. Participants will acquire practical skills and knowledge to ensure the reliability and utility of data, enabling them to make evidence-based decisions and effectively report on program progress and impact. The course emphasizes hands-on application, moving from theoretical understanding to practical implementation of data processes.
This program will cover essential topics such as planning data collection, selecting appropriate quantitative and qualitative data collection methods, designing effective data collection tools, implementing robust data quality assurance measures, performing both descriptive and basic inferential data analysis, and effectively visualizing and reporting findings. Participants will gain the confidence to manage data effectively from collection to insightful analysis, contributing to stronger MEAL outcomes.
