Course Overview
This comprehensive social impact measurement course equips sustainability professionals, ESG managers, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) directors with the core competencies needed to quantify, analyze, and communicate non-financial value. As global frameworks demand higher transparency, organizations must transition from activity-based reporting to outcome-focused impact valuation. This course balances fundamental principles with practical toolkits, guiding participants through robust methodologies such as Social Return on Investment (SROI), Theory of Change, and modern ESG reporting standards. Participating in this social impact course online or in-person guarantees a transformative learning experience designed to elevate organizational accountability.
Throughout the training, participants will explore the full lifecycle of social value assessment. Initial sessions cover the conceptual foundations of social impact learning, identifying key stakeholders, and mapping logic models. Subsequent modules examine quantitative and qualitative data collection methods, financial proxies, impact monetization, and alignment with global frameworks like the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By reviewing best-in-class examples from top social impact courses, learners will master strategic reporting, audit readiness, and continuous impact optimization within their corporate structures.
Upon the successful completion of this Social Impact Measurement and Reporting Training Course for Sustainability Leads, participants will be able to:
ü Formulate and deploy robust Theory of Change models tailored to complex corporate and community projects.
ü Select and apply appropriate quantitative and qualitative indicators to accurately measure social outcomes.
ü Calculate Social Return on Investment (SROI) using standardized financial proxies and valuation techniques.
ü Integrate social impact metrics seamlessly into overarching ESG, CSR, and sustainability reporting frameworks.
