SLA Drafting and Vendor Contract Negotiation Training Course

SLA Drafting and Vendor Contract Negotiation Training Course

Course Overview

This professional training course equips procurement officers, contract managers, legal advisors, and supply chain professionals with practical skills in Service Level Agreement (SLA) drafting, vendor contract management, and strategic commercial negotiations. In complex corporate procurement environments, poorly drafted SLAs and weak vendor contracts lead to operational downtime, budget overruns, and unresolved supplier disputes. Participants will gain comprehensive training in defining measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), establishing robust service level metrics, structuring legal liability clauses, and mastering principled negotiation strategies to secure optimal commercial terms.

The course covers crucial technical and legal domains, including SLA framework design, Service Level Credits, earn-backs, vendor risk management, indemnification and liability caps, intellectual property rights, contract drafting best practices, negotiation psychology, contract governance, and dispute resolution mechanisms. Through interactive drafting workshops, mock vendor negotiation simulations, and real-world legal case studies, attendees will acquire the practical capabilities necessary to negotiate high-value vendor contracts, enforce accountability, and protect organizational interests across complex supply chain operations.
