🤝 Advanced Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) Training in CVA Programming

🤝 Advanced Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) Training in CVA Programming

Course Overview

This intensive, five-day Advanced Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) Training in CVA Programming is a highly specialized AAP training in CVA programming course designed for humanitarian and development professionals involved in Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA). The course provides a deep dive into embedding AAP principles—including information sharing, participation, and feedback mechanisms—across the entire CVA project cycle, from design and delivery to monitoring and evaluation. Participants will learn how to shift power dynamics, build trust, and ultimately enhance the quality and effectiveness of cash-based interventions by placing the voice of the affected population at the center of programming.

The curriculum is structured to provide both foundational understanding and advanced, practical application of AAP within CVA contexts. Key topics include integrating Information Provision strategies for cash transfers, designing effective two-way Feedback and Complaints Mechanisms (FCMs), ensuring Community Participation in CVA decision-making, and understanding the intersection of AAP, Protection, and Gender equality in cash programs. The course culminates in practical sessions focused on drafting an organization's AAP strategy for a CVA intervention and integrating AAP indicators into CVA monitoring frameworks.
