Course Overview
In the high-stakes world of real estate development, the difference between a landmark success and a financial failure often lies in the precision of the initial financial model. This intensive course is designed to empower real estate developers, investors, and project managers with the sophisticated analytical tools required to evaluate project viability, secure funding, and manage cash flows effectively. Participants will transition from basic spreadsheets to dynamic, multi-phase financial models that can withstand the scrutiny of institutional lenders and equity partners.
The curriculum provides a deep dive into the mechanics of development finance, covering capital stack structuring, debt leveraging, and equity waterfalls. We explore essential metrics such as IRR, NPV, and Equity Multiple through the lens of real-world development scenarios. From land acquisition analysis and construction budgeting to exit strategy sensitivity testing, the topics are sequenced to mirror the actual lifecycle of a development project, ensuring that participants can forecast profits and mitigate risks with surgical precision.
